How it works
A syllabus in, a semester on your calendar.
Classmaite is a syllabus-to-calendar tool for college students. Upload a syllabus as a PDF, Word doc, photo, or pasted text; it extracts every assignment, exam, quiz, reading, project, and class meeting time, plus the grading table. You review the list, then sync it straight to Google Calendar or download a .ics for Apple Calendar and Outlook. The first syllabus is free with no account. It runs on any phone or laptop.
What does Classmaite do with my syllabus?
It reads the syllabus and pulls out every assignment, exam, quiz, reading, project, and class meeting time, plus the grading table. You see the full list, fix anything it misread, and then send the semester to Google Calendar directly or download a .ics file for Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other calendar app. It takes about 30 seconds.
What file types can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx), a photo of a printed syllabus, or pasted text. PDF gives the cleanest parse. If your syllabus only lives inside Canvas or Blackboard, copy the schedule text and paste it.
Is the syllabus tool free?
Your first syllabus is free with no account and no card, including the review step and the calendar export. Unlimited syllabi, grade targets, and Canvas sync are Pro: $9 a month, $29 per 6 months, or $50 a year after a 24-hour free trial.
Does it sync to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook?
Yes. Google Calendar is a direct sync. Apple Calendar, Outlook, and everything else import the .ics file in one tap. Events you have already exported stay on your calendar no matter what happens to your plan.
What if it gets a date wrong?
Nothing reaches your calendar until you have looked at it. Every extracted item sits in a review list where you can edit the title, date, time, or weight, or delete it, before you export.
